2025 NWRAA FALL BASEBALL 

REGISTRATION AUGUST 4th - AUGUST 31st

Practices will begin in September
Games will be played October -November

NEW THIS FALL WE ADDED THE 4/5-YR.-OLD AGE GROUP 

LEAGUE AGE: AGE AS OF 4/30/26

Players participate in their designated age group based on the Spring 2026 age cut-off dates. Fall Ball serves as an instructional league, offering players the opportunity to develop their skills in preparation for the 2026 Spring Season

COED 4 and 5-year-old Modified Coach-Pitch 

GAMES PLAYED SUNDAY AFTERNOON
6-year-old Coach-Pitch
7 and 8-year-old Coach-Pitch
9 and 10-year-old Kid-Pitch
11 and 12-year-old Kid-Pitch
13-16-year-old Kid Pitch

T-Ball Clinics will not be offered this Fall for current 3 and 4-year-olds (year 2025). However, with the addition of the 4/5-year-old age group and the Spring 2026 age cut-off, many participants will be eligible to enroll in the 4/5 age group.


Age Groups
COED 4 and 5 yr. old Modified Coach-Pitch
Everyone will bat and everyone will be on the field defensively each inning. Players will be first given a chance to hit a pitched ball (from the coach) if unsuccessful a batting-T will be used. 

6 yr. old Coach-Pitch Baseball
Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up).  Everyone will play defensively. Normal Coach-Pitch rules will be played with a few age-appropriate variations.  

7 and 8 yr. old Coach-Pitch Baseball
Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with ten players on the field defensively.

9 and 10 yr. old Kid-Pitch Baseball
Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with nine players on the
field defensively. Normal baseball rules will be played with a few age-appropriate modifications.  

11 and 12 yr. old Kid-Pitch Baseball
Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with nine players on the field defensively.

13 - 16 yr. old Kid Pitch Baseball
There may be some away games at neighboring ball parks. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with nine players on the field defensively.

REGISTRATION will close 8/31/25

SPACE IS LIMITED! DO NOT DELAY YOUR REGISTRATION! 
To ensure a place in the league do not delay your registration. Registration may close earlier for some age groups that reach the maximum numbers. Once maximum numbers are reached a waiting list will be created. We will add players from the waiting list if players drop or if we are able to host additional teams in the age group. Late registration will only be accepted to balance individual age group numbers; a $25 late fee will be added to your registration.

Practices start:    Saturday, 9/13/25
Season ends:       Mid/Late November (prior to Thanksgiving Week)

PLAYER REQUEST 4/5-year-old age group only: We do allow player request to play with a certain player or coach. This can be done during the registration process. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be met, at times there are too many requests to play with a certain coach or player for us to honor them all.

COACHES:
NWRAA is a volunteer-based organization, and we rely on Parents’ involvement. If you have any questions, please contact your age group commissioners. The list of age group commissioners can be found on the baseball webpage.  

TEAM ASSIGNMENTS:
Evaluations are not conducted for Fall Baseball. Your Head Coach will contact you after players are divided into teams.
To ensure team balance, our policy prohibits players from requesting to play with specific coaches or other players.

PRACTICES:
Prior to league games teams will be assigned one weeknight slot and one weekend slot. Once games begin, teams will practice once a week. The exact date and times are determined by the times selected by the Head Coach. Your Head Coach will contact you and go over the team’s practice plans and schedule. Practice dates and times are selected after teams are formed.
 
UNIFORMS:
A team jersey and hat will be provided by the league.

GAME SCHEDULE:
For ages 6 and up, games are usually held on Sunday afternoons at the NWRAA fields. Modified Coach-Pitch for 4- and 5-year-olds takes place on Monday evenings. Depending on league numbers, games might be scheduled on other days and possibly at nearby parks. Once the league numbers are finalized, game schedules will be created and posted on the website at nwraa.net.

Volunteer Work Depoit

Volunteer Work Deposit

NWRAA is a volunteer-based organization, and we rely on Parents involvement. We need Parents to volunteer, whether it is becoming a Head Coach, working a concession shift, or working a gate during a tournament, your involvement is important.

A Volunteer Work Deposit (VWD) fee of $25.00 is added to each participant during registration. The VWD is refunded after the completion of your work shift or your assignment of becoming a Head Coach. If you are unavailable to volunteer your VWD is used for your buyout, and you will not receive a refund. There will be no formal Concession/Gate Work Schedule. Parents will have the opportunity to coordinate a work shift which best fits their schedule. Typical work shift is 3.5 hours.
