Season will end mid-May
To ensure a place in the league do not delay your registration. Registration may close earlier for some age groups that reach the maximum numbers. Once maximum numbers are reached a waiting list will be created. We will add players from the waiting list if players drop or if we are able to host additional teams in the age group. Late registration will only be accepted to balance individual age group numbers; a $25 late fee will be added to your registration.

Team Assignments/Games:
3 to 5-year-old: COED T-Ball and COED Modified Coach-Pitch Baseball
Games are played once a week. There are no player evaluations, teams are assigned by the League Commissioner. We do allow player request to play with a certain player or coach. This can be done during the registration process. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be met, at times there are too many requests to play with certain coach or player for us to honor them all.
6-year-old and up: Coach-Pitch Baseball and Kid-Pitch Baseball
Games are played twice a week and teams will participate in the End of Year Tournament. Players will be evaluated and then drafted by Coaches. All players registered will be drafted. To help balance the teams, our policy is not to allow player request to play with certain coaches or players. Please do not ask, Thank you.
Player Evaluations will be held on Saturday, February 11th. Times and field assignments will be announced.
Coaches:
NWRAA is a volunteer-based organization, and we rely on Parents’ involvement. Our player evaluations and player drafts are geared to help first time coaches. During the registration process there will be a section where parents can indicate their desire to coach. If you have any questions, please contact your age group commissioners. The list of age group commissioners can be found on the baseball webpage.
Practices:
3 to 5-year-old: COED T-Ball and COED Modified Coach-Pitch Baseball
Teams will practice once a week. We cannot arrange for specific practice days. Coaches will select times slots when they receive the team roster. Once season games begin there will be no assigned practices for the T-Ball age group (3-4 yr. old).
6-year-old and up: Coach-Pitch Baseball and Kid-Pitch Baseball
During pre-season, teams will practice twice a week. Once games begin; teams will practice once a week. We cannot arrange for specific practice days. Coaches will select times slots when they receive the team roster.
Uniforms:
Each player will receive a game jersey and team hat.
Concession Duty:
We are a volunteer-based organization and rely on parents to help run Concessions. A Concession Work Deposit (CWD) fee of $25.00 will be added to your league fee. The CWD will be refunded to you after the completion of your work shift. Prior to the start of games, you will have an opportunity to sign-up for a concession work shift that works best for you. Work shift are approximately 3.5 hours. If you are unavailable to work a shift, your CWD will be used for your Concession Buyout, and you will not receive a refund. More information can be found on the web site. Being assigned as a Head Coach qualifies for refund.
Age Groups and Fees:
4-year-old have the option to play 3&4-year-old T-Ball or 4&5-year old Coach-Pitch.
COED 3 and 4yr old T- ball
Game length will be 60 minutes. Batters will be instructed how to hit a ball off a Batting –T. Everyone will bat and everyone will be on the field defensively each inning. No experience.
COED 4 and 5 yr. old Modified Coach-Pitch
Game length will be 60 minutes or 4 innings. Everyone will bat and everyone will be on the field defensively each inning. Players will be first given a chance to hit a pitched ball (from the coach) if unsuccessful a batting-T will be used.
6 yr. old Coach-Pitch Baseball
Game length is 60 minutes or 6 innings. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up). Everyone will play defensively. Normal Coach-Pitch rules will be played with a few age-appropriate variations.
7 yr. old Coach-Pitch Baseball
Game length is 60 minutes or 6 innings. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with ten players on the field defensively.
8 yr. old Coach-Pitch Baseball
Game length is 60 minutes or 6 innings. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with ten players on the field defensively.
9 and 10 yr. old Kid-Pitch Baseball
Game length is 85 minutes or 6 innings. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with nine players on the field defensively. Normal baseball rules will be played with a few age-appropriate modifications.
11 and 12 yr. old Kid-Pitch Baseball
Game length is 85 minutes or 6 innings. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with nine players on the field defensively.
13 - 16 yr. old Kid Pitch Baseball
Game length is 90 minutes or 7 innings. There may be some away games at neighboring ball parks. Teams will bat round robin (all players attended will be in the batting line up) with nine players on the field defensively.
