Team Assignments:
3 to 5-year-old: COED T-Ball and COED Modified Coach-Pitch Baseball
There are no player evaluations, teams are assigned by the League Commissioner.  We do allow player request to play with a certain player or coach. This can be done during the registration process.  We cannot guarantee that all requests will be met, at times there are too many requests to play with certain coach or player for us to honor them all.

6-year-old and up: Coach-Pitch Baseball and Kid-Pitch Baseball
Games are played twice a week and teams will participate in the End of Year Tournament. Players will be evaluated and then drafted by Coaches. All players registered will be drafted.  To help balance the teams, our policy is not to allow player request to play with certain coaches or players.  Please do not ask, Thank you

NWRAA is a volunteer-based organization, and we rely on Parents’ involvement.  Our player evaluations and player drafts are geared to help first time coaches. During the registration process there will be a section where parents can indicate their desire to coach.  If you have any questions, please contact your age group commissioners. The list of age group commissioners can be found under the baseball webpage.

During pre-season, teams will be assigned one weeknight slot and one weekend slot.  Once games begin; teams will practice once a week.  We cannot arrange for specific practice days.  Coaches will select times slots when they receive the team roster. Once season games begin there will be no assigned practices for the T-Ball age group (3-4 yr. old).

Concession Duty:
We are a volunteer-based organization and rely on parents to help run Concessions. A Concession Work Deposit (CWD) fee of $25.00 will be added to your league fee. The CWD will be refunded to you after the completion of your work shift. Prior to the start of games, you will have an opportunity to sign-up for a concession work shift that works best for you. Work shift are approximately 3.5 hours. If you are unavailable to work a shift, your CWD will be used for your Concession Buyout, and you will not receive a refund. More information can be found on the web site.  Being assigned as a Head Coach qualifies for refund.

Spring Baseball Concession Duty

Concession Duty Obligation

NWRAA is a volunteer-based organization and we rely on Parents’ involvement.  We need Parents to volunteer, whether it is working a concession shift or working a gate during a tournament, your involvement is important.  A Concession Work Deposit (CWD) fee of $25.00 will be added to each participant during registration.  The CWD will be refunded to you after the completion of your work shift.  If you are unavailable to volunteer for a shift, your CWD will be used for your buyout and you will not receive a refund. There will be no formal Concession Work Schedule.  Parents will have the opportunity to coordinate a work shift which best fits their schedule.  Typical work shift is 3.5 hours.   The League plans on hiring backup concession workers to fill in to keep the Concession Stand properly staffed.  The CWD will be used to fund additional staffing.
